About Us

Anderson Acres is a social dog boarding and training facility located near Santa Rosa , California . Here qualified dogs play with others of like size and temperament in one of our four large enclosed yards. Both through an initial interview and by monitoring your dog’s activities and preferences we will select a group we feel is suitable for them to play with. Groups are typically between 8 and 12 dogs, are always staff supervised and have opportunities to be indoors or out throughout the day. Anderson Acres provides play equipment, wading pools and staff interaction for your dog but mostly our guests entertain themselves with games like “follow the leader” and “tug-a-war”.

The owners, Tom and Cris Anderson, live at the facility and provide around the clock sentinel for your pet.

There are basic requirements for our guests that include up to date vaccination records, absence of any contagious diseases or parasites and the ability to be among other dogs and have our staff handle them as necessary. The initial sociability assessment is done during our mandatory tour and interview here at our facility. During the tour your dog will follow you from area to area sniffing investigating at their own pace gaining confidence and acclimating in the process. Anderson Acres is nestled in the scenic Sonoma/Napa Wine Country. We are centrally located south of Santa Rosa just moments from U.S. Highway 101. Our location is readily accessible from anywhere in the greater bay area. The rolling hills provide a beautiful backdrop, while the country atmosphere lends itself to a relaxing easy feeling.
